Maureen Brennan

Circuit: FL - Florida Home Club: National Polo Center - Wellington

I started playing in 2002 after a lifetime in Grand Prix showjumping. I engaged with USPA when I went to annual meetings back in 2003 just to “check it out” and ended up on a few committees. Since then, I have been a Governor-At-Large and appointed to Executive Committee, Chairman of the High Goal Committee for six years straight, Chairman of Women’s Handicap Committee, current member of Rules and Tournament Committees, past member of National Handicap, Women’s and Marketing Committees. I have pretty much attended meetings since 2003 and often both meetings each year.

I play all levels of polo, mixed /women’s/ arena. I ran my own club in Virginia from 2002 to 2018. I also breed polo ponies some of which play the U.S. Open Polo Championship level with amateurs and pros. I am grateful to say that I have won major USPA tournaments low through high goal, women’s tournaments, multiple BPP and MVP honors. I am very dedicated to this sport as horses are my life and starting playing polo back 20 years ago is one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I truly enjoy my time volunteering for the USPA as it keeps me up to speed on all things polo and my objective is to keep our sport going forward at all levels.

Thank you for considering voting for me.
