USPA NATIONAL I/I ALUMNI TOURNAMENT – THE FELDMAN CUP
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
After relocating from The Detroit Polo Club located in Howell, Michigan, Central Coast Polo Club located in Los Osos, California, will host the 2020 National Intercollegiate/Interscholastic (I/I) Alumni Tournament, the Feldman Cup, over the weekend of September 19-20. Players representing a variety of I/I backgrounds will converge to take part in the tournament. Teams playing in this year's Feldman Cup include Mustang Managers, Santa Barbara and Trojan Frogs.
After a thrilling 2019 tournament with Flat Out holding on tightly to their lead, Flat Out's Paul Knapp shot in a booming two pointer with 30 seconds remaining making them the 2019 Feldman Cup champions, 13-10. However, with Flat Out not returning to this year's tournament, the 2020 Feldman Cup is sure to be an exhilarating one with three brand new teams vying for the trophy.
The National I/I Alumni Tournament, the Feldman Cup, was founded in 2014 as an opportunity for I/I alumni to get back in the game, and 2020 will mark the seventh year of the Feldman Cup. Players are encouraged to become re-involved with I/I by supporting I/I programs. The requirements for entry include being an I/I alumni and a current USPA Member.
