Flying Cow Polo Club in Wellington, Florida, is pleased to announce the return of the Women of Wellington (WOW) medium-goal polo series! Following the breakout success of its inaugural season, WOW will utilize its established momentum to continue offering more options to female players in organized polo at locations with a strong polo presence. WOW aims to inspire players to form teams and enter prestigious tournaments by connecting new and seasoned players on the field.

The series aims to enable young, new and otherwise unincorporated female players to participate in organized tournaments with USPA professional umpires on quality fields. WOW will continue to provide valuable playing experience to team owners/amateurs and job opportunities to a large pool of available higher-rated women players.

In collaboration with the Wellington Polo Tour (WPT), Port Mayaca Polo Club (Okeechobee, Florida) and the National Polo Center – Wellington, WOW has released a schedule to coordinate with the winter high-goal season and the U.S. Open Women’s Polo Championship. Flying Cow Polo Club has been awarded two 10- to 14-goal USPA women’s circuit tournaments to ensure high-quality events and the series will conclude with the prestigious Tabebuia Cup, hosted by Port Mayaca Polo Club.

WOW is proud to provide playing opportunities and a platform to promote amateur and professional women’s players to encourage greater participation in the U.S. Open Women’s Polo Championship. For those interested in competing, experience in medium goal is highly valuable to prepare female members for premier women’s tournament play in the United States and beyond.

Prize money will be awarded to the winner of each final along with Most Valuable Player and Best Playing Pony awards. Flying Cow Polo Club will also seek additional financial support and greater promotional reach by obtaining corporate sponsorship.
