New Bridge is pleased to announce that we will begin club practices on Tuesday, May 19. In addition, the Governor of South Carolina has said that private clubs and athletic clubs may begin activities on Monday, May 18. Based on those guidelines, New Bridge Polo & Country Club (New Bridge) will begin organized practices for members on Tuesday, May 19 at 4:00pm ET. New Bridge members interested in practices are encouraged to text Haley Bryan by noon the day before. We will plan on practice days as in the past, Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00pm ET and Saturdays at 10:00am ET. Field three will be available for members to stick and ball starting Saturday, May 16.

As a reminder, we are offering two 8-goal tournaments. We are excited to note that if we have at least four teams, there will be a $2,500 prize for the winning team of each tournament. The dates for the 8-goal tournaments are:

Regional President's Cup: May 22 - June 7, 2020
Pete Bostwick Memorial: June 10 - 21, 2020

May 8, 2020

The USPA is currently scheduled to lift restrictions starting May 16. Hopefully, the State of South Carolina will also be able to loosen restrictions to allow polo. Provided the State allows, we will begin practice for New Bridge Polo & Country Club Members on May 16. We also plan to offer two 8-goal tournaments.

The tentative schedule will be:
Regional President's Cup: May 22-June 7, 2020
Pete Bostwick Memorial: June 10-21, 2020

This is all contingent on the State's directive, which we will continue to monitor as best we can.

April 29, 2020

The New Bridge Polo Club has been informed by the State of South Carolina that we must keep within the guidelines and restrictions in place through May 15, 2020. Although this does include practices, we hope to be able to offer practice after May 15, 2020, once restrictions are lifted.

April 1, 2020

Due to the ongoing health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States Polo Association and, most recently, the Governor of South Carolina orders, the decision has been made to postpone all polo activities through the month of April. We will continue to reevaluate the situation and keep you abreast of any changes made at New Bridge Polo & Country Club in Aiken, South Carolina.

During this time all polo fields are off limits to stick and ball and/or keep away.

Your cooperation and patience are greatly appreciated during these uncertain times. Our main objective is to keep the people we care about safe and healthy and that includes all of you and the staff at New Bridge Polo & Country Club.
