Efficiently interact with the USPA Rulebook with ease on the field or from home by downloading it directly to your phone. Using the iBooks app on Apple iOS, iPhone users have the ability to write or highlight directly on individual pages, search keywords, and bookmark pages for easy reference on the go. The digital rulebook download is compact, free, and the easiest way to access the specific information you need.
Save the rulebook on all smartphone operating systems including Apple iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.

Steps to Add USPA Rulebook to iBooks (Apple iOS)
1. Go to the uspolo.org homepage on your web browser and select the menu icon dropdown in the top left-hand corner
2. Select the “Association” tab and the “Bookshelf” category
3. Under the first entry “Rulebooks”, select the red bar labeled “2017 USPA Rulebook” (or current year)
4. To save the document to your phone, select the square save icon located on the bottom of the screen in the center.
5. Select the orange icon “Copy to iBooks”
Available Features in iBooks
1. Individual page view or Table of Contents navigation
2. Note taking – Selection of writing tools, highlighter colors, magnifier, text box, signature
3. Spotlight – Search keywords to find pages where term/name is mentioned
4. Bookmark – Tag pages frequently used for quick reference
Steps to Add USPA Rulebook to Android
1. Go to the uspolo.org homepage on your web browser and select the menu icon dropdown in the top left-hand corner
2. Select the “Association” tab and the “Bookshelf” category
3. Under the first entry “Rulebooks”, select the red bar labeled “2017 USPA Rulebook” (or current year)
4. Save PDF document to “Downloads”
5. Retrieve from “Downloads” folder and “Open With” Drive PDF Viewer (for basic viewing and keyword search only) or eBook app of choice for additional features*
Available Features in Adobe Acrobat (One option of many)
1. Single page swipe, continuous scroll or Table of Contents navigation
2. Pinch or double tap screen to increase font size
3. Annotations (not allowed in “reading mode”) – Choice of highlighter and pen, add notes, text, and signature, strikethrough, underline
4. Night mode – Changes background and text color to decrease brightness in the dark
5. Search feature – Find keywords throughout rulebook
6. Bookmark – Isolate bookmarked pages for easy reference
7. Comments – View only edited pages in isolated tab
8. Share File – Via email, text etc. with comments
*eBook apps such as Aldiko, Kindle or Nook first need to be downloaded and installed from Google Play to appear under “Open With.”

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
