Orange County Polo Club (OC Polo Club) in Silverado, California, is pleased to be hosting the USPA Women’s Arena Open and the USPA-sanctioned Shady Lady Invitational. The USPA Women’s Arena Open will showcase the highest level of women's arena polo currently played in the United States. This year marks the first time the tournament is being held on the West Coast.
With a spacious arena, specially designed footing, a jumbotron, a gorgeous clubhouse and plenty of room for spectators, the tournament is guaranteed to be competitive, safe and fun for all participants. Don’t miss this opportunity to compete with some of the highest-rated women arena players in the nation, and the world, for prize money in a national USPA tournament. A landmark event for women's polo, the semifinals and final of the USPA Women’s Arena Open (excluding consolation matches) will be livestreamed on Global Polo TV.

USPA Women's Arena Open - “A” Flight
Goal level: 12-14 goal
Entry Fee: $1500/team
Prize Money: $2500
Shady Lady Invitational - “B” Flight
4-6 goal
Entry Fee: $350/player
Enter as a team or as an individual.
Both tournaments are USPA tournaments. Matches will be played as four seven-and-a-half minute chukkers using USPA rules and professional umpires. Ties will be broken via shootout. The draw will occur on Sunday, September 18.
Each player entry includes access to the clubhouse, EMT, awards, Friday dinner, Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch. Guest tickets will be available for purchase.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
