Robin Sanchez grew up under some of the best coaches and instructors of the game – including Corky Linfoot, Ronnie Tongg, Graham Thomas and Rege Ludwig.
Robin ran and coached the successful Florida Junior Polo program from 2000-2007, and Brushy Creek Polo Ranch from 2007 until its closing in 2010.
Robin also managed and taught lessons at several polo clubs, has given polo clinics and run polo camps around the country, and coached several I/I teams. She spent many years as a Field Director for the Polo Training Foundation. She was Director of Content at Poloskilz.com, which she helped Kim Snider create to bring polo instruction to the internet.
Robin is active on several USPA committees. She is a Certified Horsemanship Association Master Instructor and ACI certifier, an AQHA Professional Horseman, and a Hurlingham Polo Association certified overseas polo instructor. She is a CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor and an ASEP certified sports coach. Robin has also been trained as an EMT and an ImPACT test proctor.
In addition to her efforts with USPA and the sport of polo, Robin is a sustainable agriculture farmer and, quite possibly, the only vegetarian raising beef cattle.
Effective Date: Saturday, May 16, 2020
The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
