What has been one of your favorite teaching memories?
“I just really like introducing new players to the sport. One of my favorite teaching moments was when I gave Kelli Newton (one of the top dressage young riders in the nation at the time) and her mom their first polo lesson. Kelli had grown up in the highly disciplined equine environment and I really enjoyed teaching her the game and watching her get so much enjoyment out of it. Now (5 years later), Kelli is rated 1 goal, both she and her mom own polo horses, and Kelli is working for us at OC Polo.”
