USPA NATIONAL ARENA BRONZE CUP

TOURNAMENT HISTORY

Established in 2022, the inaugural USPA National Arena Bronze Cup will debut at Brandywine Polo Club in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania. Created by the Arena Committee, the tournament fills the demand for national arena events at the low-goal level.

Three talented 0- to 4-goal teams will battle to be crowned the first USPA National Arena Bronze Cup champions including, Boothwyn Pharmacy/OneMagnify, Five String Farm and La Jefa.

THE VENUE

Brandywine Polo Club is a USPA Member Club that brings the passion of polo and the spirit of the local community together every summer season. Located on 122 acres, with 100 stalls, four grass fields and the regulation Malvern Bank Arena, Brandywine Polo is in the Brandywine Valley of Kennett Square, in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania. Established in 1950 by James McHugh, a former Yale intercollegiate player, today Brandywine Polo maintains the reputation as a vibrant East Coast club, hosting a four-month polo season with competitive tournaments held at the 0- to 8-goal level, as well as a successful polo school managed by Ata and Olivia Alonso.

USPA COVID-19 UPDATE

Effective Date: Saturday, May 16, 2020

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
