REGIONAL CLASSIC-SOUTHEASTERN
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
The Regional Classic-Southeastern is a national 12-goal tournament and will return to Sarasota Polo Club (Sarasota, Florida) for the first time since 2012, where it was formerly named the Regional Classic-Southeast. Last competed for in 2012, the tournament final saw M&I Wealth Management/Wildcat (Ryan Gilbertson, James P. Uihlein, Hector Galindo, Joe Wayne Barry) defeat Hillcroft 11-10 to take home their second Regional Classic-Southeast title since 2009.
2022's edition will feature four competitive teams, including the return of James P. Uihlein and Steve Krueger (Tito's) to defend their 2012 title, as Team USPA alumnus Mason Wroe joins 2021 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship® winner Vaughn Miller Jr. (Hillcroft). Trevor Niznik and Alan Martinez will unite once again in Sarasota for Barefield after recently completing an undefeated 8-goal season in Aiken, South Carolina.
