Having successfully won the first leg of the Triple Crown of Polo, the C.V. Whitney Cup, Valiente will enter the USPA Gold Cup® Semifinals on Wednesday, March 28, with hopes to move forward in their pursuit of all three tournament titles, the last of which is the U.S. Open Polo Championship®.
Taking home the 20-goal Ylvisaker Cup and the 26-goal Butler Handicap titles earlier in the season prepared Valiente to overcome Colorado in the C.V. Whitney Cup final 11-8. Securing the win has made them eligible for the Triple Crown of Polo victory a second year in a row having won all three prestigious tournaments in 2017.
The formidable foursome of Adolfo Cambiaso, Facundo Pieres, Tommy Beresford and Bob Jornayvaz will meet Tonkawa at 12:00pm ET on Wednesday, March 28, at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida. For fans who are unable to attend the game in person, the USPA Polo Network will livestream the USPA Gold Cup® Semifinals.
Effective Date: Saturday, May 16, 2020

The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC.
