Get your calendars out because the highly-anticipated Ninth Annual International Gay Polo Tournament will return to Wellington, Florida, on April 6 - 8, 2018, to be hosted once again at the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC). Make sure to add this to your schedule so you do not miss the most exciting social event of the winter polo season!
Recently awarded the title of LGBTQ Sporting Event of the Year by Connect Sports, the tournament promises to maintain its award-winning ways by offering attendees an unrivaled polo experience.
Guests can once again look forward to the festive Polotini Party held on Friday evening at The Wanderers Club, followed by fast-paced polo matches on Saturday to determine the 2018 GPL tournament champions. Stick around until Sunday to extend the weekend fun by indulging in the lavish brunch buffet at the members-only Mallet Grill, located within the International Polo Club Palm Beach. While enjoying brunch on the veranda, attendees will experience the excitement of yet another high-goal polo match on the manicured IPC polo field to conclude the weekend's festivities.
With the dates now locked, LGBTQ polo players have the opportunity to participate in the open call to compete in one of the most popular events of the year. If interested, please contact Chip McKenney at chip@gaypolo.com.
GPL is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and is thrilled to host this annual charity event once again, with the proceeds going to help those within the LGBTQ youth community.
Stay tuned, as ticket and sponsorship information will be forthcoming.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week.
