The Annual Linfoot Clinic will be held at Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, California, December 16-17. Former 7-goal player, horse trainer and coach Corky Linfoot offers up his wealth of knowledge for all who attend through chalk talks, swing mechanics, coached chukkers and Q&A sessions. His wife Kathy, an excellent horsewoman, works with students on honing their riding skills with drills that they can take home and continue practicing. The clinic is filmed and DVDs are sent to each participant.

Molly Mussleman has recently benefited from Linfoot's coaching in Midland, Texas. "You have to leave your ego at the door and have an open mind at his methods,” said Mussleman. “With Corky's help, the game I hold so dear is understood in a new positive way. For example, with four players on our team, it finally sunk in that we are a team and need to operate as such. Zoning and proper communication with my teammates is just as important as my own polo skills. No one else could have provided me this lesson. I am blessed to learn from him and always look forward to the next time I can benefit from his coaching. He is an amazing man. What a change he has brought to my knowledge and understanding of a sport I thought I knew so well!"

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
