Grand Champions Polo Club (GCPC) located in Wellington, Florida, has announced its anticipated schedule for the upcoming fall season, which gets underway in October and will conclude at the end of November. GCPC will host both medium-goal and high-goal leagues, highlighted by two USPA national tournaments, the North American Cup and the National Twenty Goal.
The club is set on over 102 acres between the two properties of GCPC and Santa Rita Polo Farm, with 11 total fields that host a wide range of tournaments ranging from the 6- to 26-goal levels in addition to special events during the winter, spring and fall seasons. The club also offers 212 stalls in nine self-contained barns, two tracks, five climate-controlled tack rooms, vet room, staff quarters, guest house and short work arena. Established at the center of an international equestrian community, GCPC has flourished in the dynamic Florida Circuit for over 10 years. The family-friendly club welcomes spectators of all ages. All matches, food and refreshments are free (with the exception of special catered events) and open to the public and dogs on leashes.
Grand Champions Polo Club and Santa Rita Polo Farm cater to men, women and youth polo players at all levels. Expert staff can customize a complete playing experience, including horses, pros and certified umpires, in addition to lessons and practice sessions as part of their Polo On Demand program. The Polo School is available for all ages and ability levels and operates in Wellington year-round.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
