Join Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, California, this season for the most exciting and competitive polo in the desert. Enjoy winter polo in California's Coachella Valley with idyllic weather conditions that allows for an unhindered tournament schedule. Sunday Polo Opening Day will be Sunday, January 7, 2018, and continues each Sunday until April 1, with matches at 12:00pm and 2:00pm PT.
Eldorado is pleased to offer a variety of tournament levels throughout the season commencing January 6 and continuing through April 1. The January and February leagues will feature the highly competitive six chukker 8-Goal along with the two-sponsor four chukker 4-Goal. The polo competition will heat up in March as the club moves into the 12-Goal USPA Rossmore Skins Tournament and the 6-Goal USPA Pacific Coast Circuit Governor's Cup—the two most prestigious tournaments of the season. The ever-popular Pro Pool will continue each weekend January through March, providing ideal competition for those looking for fun, safe polo on a week by week basis.
Eldorado Polo Club will continue to develop the next generation of polo players with the Junior Polo Program each Saturday and Sunday morning at the Cantina along with several junior tournaments. For those looking to learn the sport of polo, the Eldorado Polo and Riding Academy has you covered with a string of safe school horses and expert instruction to allow all to enjoy the game. The season will conclude with the USPA National Youth Tournament Series Qualifier and USPA Pacific Coast Circuit Women's Challenge WCT Qualifier on April 1.
Barns have opened and practices will commence December 16. If you would like to work your string on their fantastic mile-long exercise track you will be required to be stabled at Eldorado. The clubs offers a large variety of stabling options including box stalls, pipe corrals and turn-outs.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
