2021 CIRCUIT GOVERNOR ELECTION UNDERWAY UNTIL AUGUST 10

The 2021 Circuit Governor Election begins today. All Delegates representing USPA Active Member clubs are eligible to vote for a candidate. Please find a list of candidates that have been nominated below:

Central Circuit: Robert McMurtry
Eastern Circuit: Joseph Muldoon
Florida Circuit: Stephen Orthwein Jr.
Great Plains Circuit: Mike Carney
Midstates Circuit: Walter “Trey” Schott & Jorge Vasquez
Hawaiian Islands Circuit: Wilford “Bill” Kirton
Northeastern Circuit: Leighton Jordan
Pacific Coast Circuit: Daniel Walker & Paul Griffin
Pacific Northwest Circuit: Sheryl Sick
Rocky Mountain Circuit*
Southeastern Circuit: William Raab

If only one candidate is nominated, a majority of the total number of votes by Delegates within the Circuit are REQUIRED for the candidate to be elected.**

Each Delegate will receive the number of ballots set forth below based on the number of Registered Player Members in the Active Member Club that the Delegate represents:

*Please note: In the Border and Rocky Mountain Circuits, no candidate was nominated within the nomination period by the required minimum of two club delegates. The Constitution states that if no candidate in a particular Circuit is nominated within the applicable nomination period by the required minimum of two club delegates, the Chairman of the Association shall select an individual to serve as the Circuit Governor of such Circuit, subject to approval of the Board of Governors.

** The Constitution states that if no candidate in a particular Circuit receives the majority of the total number of votes during the election period, the Chairman of the Association shall select an individual to serve as the Circuit Governor of such Circuit, subject to approval of the Board of Governors.
