Calling all Youth Players! The 2018 National Youth Tournament Series (NYTS) Season has officially opened as of March 1, 2018.

Exciting new changes

1. The East vs. West Invitational at NYTS National Championships will be an All-Girls Division. Female players qualify by being selected as an All-Star at a National Youth Tournament Series Qualifier. (Female players are eligible to be selected to the Zone team as well.)

2. Increased Number of All-Stars at Qualifiers. Tournaments with four or more teams will award more All-Stars than in previous tournaments to ensure players are receiving equal opportunity to be recognized, regardless of the number of teams competing.

•Two teams – Four All-Stars
•Three teams – Five All-Stars
•Four Teams – Seven All-Stars
•Five Teams – Eight All-Stars
•Six Teams – Nine All-Stars

3. Best Playing Pony at NYTS Qualifiers. The NYTS Program recognizes the importance of our equine partners in all tournaments. Each NYTS Qualifier will award a Best Playing Pony prize to one outstanding equine athlete in the tournament.

East vs. West Invitational

Upcoming Qualifiers
•Sarasota Polo Club, Lakewood Ranch, Florida, March 24, 2018.
•Eldorado Polo Club II, Indio, California, March 31-April 1, 2018.
•Santa Clara Polo Club, Wellington, Florida, Date TBD.
•International Polo Club Palm Beach, Wellington, Florida, April 2, 2018.

The National Youth Tournament Series Program was established to provide youth players the opportunity to compete against their peers in USPA sanctioned outdoor tournaments. At each qualifier, All-Stars are selected by an appointed committee. All-Stars are then eligible to be selected for one of the four open zone teams or two female regional teams to compete in the NYTS Championship and East vs. West Invitational over Labor Day Weekend. The NYTS qualifier has been designed for upper-intermediate to advanced youth players, those capable of holding a minimum of a “B” handicap.
