I was born and raised in Colorado. I’ve been around horses my whole life, first showing with mom and sister; then my dad started to play polo when I was in high school, and I groomed for him and stick and balled a little. I started to play at Colorado State (CSU), and have been hooked ever since.

After graduating from CSU, I worked as a groom in Texas for three years, getting to play any chance I could. I then worked one season of high goal as a groom for Adam Snow. Back to TX for a year, then my husband Mark and I began training polo horses together. We took a brief hiatus living in Hawaii for nearly a year, then returned to Aiken, South Carolina permanently where we have been involved in polo since. Our two children Wesley and Malia grew up in polo and both continue to play professionally.

I began organizing polo tournaments at Langdon Road where we hosted 16-goal. That evolved into consistent spring and fall seasons in Aiken, where I now manage polo at New Bridge Polo and Country Club. I also ran the Rose Spur Polo Club in the summers in Snowmass, Colorado for 13 years. Currently, I spend the summers managing the polo at the Big Horn Polo Club in Big Horn, Wyoming. In 2005 I worked at International Polo Club (IPC) for the season, then returned to Wellington in 2008 managing the Flying Cow League which eventually became the 14-goal at IPC. Since then I have been helping manage the high goal polo at IPC with Jimmy Newman. I also organized the PTF youth tournaments with Jennifer McCleavy in Wellington from 2010-2017.

I also served on the USPA youth committee and NYTS committee. Since 2019 I have organized the US Open Women’s Polo Championship along with Laura Townsend. I serve on the USPA Handicap at Large committee and the USPA Rules committee as well. I have been involved in all types of polo for many years including intercollegiate, low, medium and high goal tournament polo, women’s polo, youth polo and club polo.

I look forward to the opportunity to be more involved in the USPA working with people who share the love for the sport and desire to maintain its integrity while growing the sport in all aspects.
