Spectacular views of the range’s snow covered peaks can be seen from the polo fields. The club is surrounded by farms and 40,000 acres of public land, providing ample trail riding. DeCourcey Ranch consists of 40 acres, including two polo fields, a large hay field and three ponds. A new club established in October 2017, Central Oregon Polo Club’s ten members currently play in an indoor arena located in Sisters, Oregon. An outdoor field is projected to be completed in the fall of 2018.

Central Oregon Polo Club has seven seasoned club polo ponies for new members to learn on, however it is recommended that all new participants have horse riding experience. Polo lessons and play take place every Sunday in the winter months from 12:00-3:00pm in an indoor arena. During the summer months, access to the main field will be provided three times a week, along with a practice field available for lessons four days a week. Although not a boarding facility, Central Oregon Polo Club has access to eight indoor stalls and large outdoor paddocks. The majority of members bring their own horses weekly, or new polo players can use the club’s polo ponies for lessons, as available. Playing in the Cascades, hiking or skiing are just a few of the outdoor adventures one can tackle in a weekend or a week. A versatile city, Bend offers an array of outdoor activities including, fishing, river rafting, rodeo, outdoor concerts, and breweries galore.
