Women’s Pacific Coast Open

Tournament History

The Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club (SBPRC) (Carpinteria, California) is thrilled to announce the 16- to 18-goal Women’s Pacific Coast Open tournament September 4-6.

This tournament will bring many of the top female players from around the world together on the beautiful fields of SBPRC and its neighboring fields at Cancha de Estrellas. Four teams will battle for victory, including returning teams Dundas, Timing and Polo Gear (co-sponsored this year with Coffee Company). La Herradura will join the competition for the first time this year boasting the highest-rated player in the tournament, Izzy Parsons at 8-goals. Among the competition are two active Team USPA Members, Mia Bray and Hope Arellano who is also a U.S. Polo Assn. Global Brand Ambassador.

These talented lady players will gather to compete and celebrate the legacy of the legendary player Sunny Hale. Hale was a California native, the first woman to win the U.S. Open Polo Championship® competing against male players in the 2001 U.S. Open and an inspiration to a generation of polo players.
