NATIONAL OUTDOOR COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF CUP
Tournament History
The National Outdoor Commander-in-Chief Cup was played at Sarasota Polo Club (Sarasota, Florida) in 2019 with Tito's Handmade Vodka (Joe Wayne Barry, Del Walton, James Uihlein, Nick Cifuni) claiming the 13-10 victory. Relocating in 2020 to Brandywine Polo Club (Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania), the National Outdoor Commander-in-Chief Cup was held over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and won by Dovecote (Brianna Jordan, Liv Berube, Nate Berube, Turner Wheaton, Madison Jordan), using a strong offensive performance in the 9.5-8 victory over Hawkwood.
The National Outdoor Commander-in-Chief Cup returns to Sarasota Polo Club in 2021 as Tito's Handmade Vodka tries to recapture their 2019 title, challenged by Hillcroft, Glen Farm and Whiskey Pond. Bringing back two members of the 2019 winning team in Joe Wayne Barry and James Uihlein, Tito's Handmade Vodka adds Maddie Grant (only female in the tournament), along with Alan Martinez. After capturing the National Inter-Circuit Championship a week earlier, Hillcroft will look to claim their second consecutive 10-goal title, led by Team USPA Alumni Mason Wroe and Herndon Radcliff.
