GLADIATOR POLO™

Tournament History

Mark Bellissimo and the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC) in Wellington, Florida, present the USPA-sanctioned Gladiator Polo™ arena event. Gladiator Polo™ is a professional arena polo league that combines the world’s best polo players with modified rules that keep the play fast. The event is played in the U.S. Polo Assn. Coliseum with all-weather footing approximately 330′ x 225′ in size which is 1/10 the dimensions of a typical grass polo field. There are three players on each side and teams, which are designated by iconic regional cities, will battle it out during the season for impressive prize money and bragging rights. An innovative venture hosted at the International Polo Club Palm Beach’s new outdoor arena, Gladiator Polo™ aims to bring more players, patrons, spectators and sponsors into the sport of polo. Gladiator Polo™ will provide substantial income and opportunities to both emerging and seasoned professionals and make the sport higher-profile and more accessible at all levels.
